e-democracy.md is the official website of the Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT. It is designed to promote democratic values and to be a clearinghouse of unbiased information on the political, social and economic developments in the Republic of Moldova. Through this page ADEPT strives to achieve its mission - to increase citizen participation in all forms of public life.

Website was made possible through:

Launched within the project "From a Reluctant to a Participatory Democracy", funded by International Foundation for Election Systems,
(August - November 2001).

Political parties component was developed within the project "Monitoring Political Parties Evolution in the Republic of Moldova" funded by SOROS-Moldova Foundation,
(January 2002 - December 2002).

Monitoring political and legislative developments, as part of the "Strengthening Political Parties Youth Branches", funded by Royal Netherlands Embassy,
(June 2002- November 2003).

Elections 2003, as part of the "Assistance and monitoring of the electoral campaign in view of general local elections of May 25, 2003" funded by US Embassy to Moldova,
(April - June 2003).

E-journal developed within the project "Strengthening political parties through the NGO & political party partnership", funded by National Endowment for Democracy,
(February 2003 - January 2004).


ADEPT upkeeps and designs the great majority of the site columns on a volunteer basis so as to provide an unbiased and up-to-date information to its beneficiaries interested in the evolution of the democratic process in the Republic of Moldova.
