Throughout July 26 - August 1, 2004 26 young party activists gathered at Molovata-Noua for the Summer School "Election Campaign" hosted by ADEPT. The event was the last one in the series of the III edition of the Leadership School and brought together representatives of the Moldova Noastra Alliance, Democratic Party of Moldova, Christian-Democratic Peoples Party, Party of Reforms, Social-Democratic Party of Moldova and Social-Liberal Party of Moldova.

The Summer School enabled participants to apply in practice the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the year during the courses of the Leadership School, namely by mocking a real election campaign.

As part of the Summer School, participants formed three political parties that had to work hard to win the votes in the presidential elections. The three parties identified their potential voters, developed the party program and message, planed the campaign so as to deliver the message to their electorate, devised get-out-and-vote campaigns for young voters, designed electioneering materials (fliers, posters, stickers), shoot their TV spot, met with the voters, and took part in the TV debates.

For many participants that was the first hands-on experience of election campaign. Most importantly, though, participants learned to master the art of negotiations and compromise - to work towards the common good regardless of the party they are coming from.
