AMN joins PLDM

The Party Alliance “Our Moldova” (AMN) decided to join the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) during the extraordinary IX-th Congress, attended by about 300 delegates. The AMN congress was attended by PLDM leader, Vlad Filat, who declared that this decision is truly historic one, courageous and rational. PLDM and the new members declared they want to win in local elections of 5 June. As argument for joining the PLDM, the AMN leader Serafim Urecheanu mentioned the similarity of doctrines and goals, as well as migration to AMN electorate to PLDM in the last three parliamentary elections.

United Moldova could support the candidacy of Valeriu Plesca for the mayor position of the capital

Vladimir Turcan, Chairman of the Party “United Moldova” (PMU), declared that Valeriu Plesca, former Defence Minister, Chairman of the “New Force” Party, could be supported by PMU as candidate for Chisinau mayor, and the decision in this regard shall be made public early next week. Socialist Party proposes Valentine Krilov

Valentin Krilov was nominated as candidate of the Socialist Party of Moldova “Patria-Rodina” (PSRM) running for mayor of Chisinau. Valentin Krilov currently holds the position of Executive Secretary of the PSM “Patria-Rodina”. In 2009 and 2010 elections it supported the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova, and Veronica Abramciuc, one of the founders of the Socialist Party, is a Member of Parliament from PCRM.
