Parliamentarians were on holidays on January 1–15 and they worked in commissions and factions in territory in the second half of January. The Parliament will hold an ordinary sitting on February 7, with the agenda proposed by the Permanent Bureau including about 30 draft legislative acts.

Sixteen draft legal acts were published on the website in January, in particular:

• The draft law on protection of witnesses and other participants in proceedings;
• The draft law on property of administrative-territorial units;
• The draft soil law;
• The draft law on ratification of the agreement concerning privileges and immunities of the Organisation for Democracy and Economic Development — GUAM.

Delegations led by chairman of the Parliament visited the United Kingdom and France on January 28–31.
