Dear residents of Chisinau!

We are capable of organising living standards in Chisinau worthy of a European capital. We have outlined three tasks, three objectives for us. Supported efforts, responsibility and honesty are needed for their fulfilment. The most important is our need for your support.

1. “Your city”

We must withdraw the secret-mania from all decisions and actions of the city administration. Fruitful cooperation relations between city administration and central authorities are needed. Every resident of Chisinau holds the right to know how the urban budget is created, how the money of the city is used. Our capital aims to get rid of corruption, extortion and injustice, while the supremacy of the law, professionalism and honesty must rule the Chisinau City Hall. Retiree, entrepreneur, student — every city resident must be sure that the city hall serves their interests alone. It protects them against social problems. It does not lay bureaucratic obstacles on way of free initiative and active business spirit. It does not suppress them with local taxes. It supports the development and modernisation of city industry, which was so strong until recently. This is the only way to recover the city’s economy. These are the only conditions of the city to attract investments, and they will bring additional means, new jobs needed by Chisinau residents.

2. “Your home”

A general city building plan must finally be adopted. We must urgently start the entire restoration of the city — every street, every block, every step. We must not tolerate in continuation the darkness in courtyards and streets, deteriorated roads and pavements, dirtiness and carelessness. It’s time to seriously focus on urban transportation. It aims to ensure accessibility, comfort, and security. The city public service system must be modernised. We must improve the quality of these services at a modern level, and to oppose a higher cost of these services, and this is a very important fact for retirees who reside the city. We must uproot the practice to blame the Chisinau residents for consequences of the lack of management spirit of urban services. We must protect and restore the park areas of the capital, so that they become favourite entertainment and amusement places of townsfolk.

3. “Your family”

The city administration must firmly protect the family and the children. They must enjoy the necessary support, and a special attention must be paid to families in need. We must and we are able to jointly stop the vagrancy, crime, and drug addiction among children and teenagers. All kindergartens and schools, all healthcare institutions must hold the most modern technical-material means, with the assistance of the city authorities. We must assist the institutions of higher learning, colleges and schools in Chisinau to participate in the process of education of experienced and skilled specialists. It’s time to implement special programmes on creation of necessary conditions for youths in Chisinau for a worthy cultural, sport and artistic life. The city authorities must back the residents of Chisinau to turn their families into true homes worthy of an organised and stable life.

Dear residents of Chisinau!

It’s time to demonstrate to us and to all the citizens: Chisinau is capable to become a modern capital of a European state. It is capable of becoming a city of your dreams.
