Biographical Data
Born June 19, 1962; Vorniceni village, Straseni rayon.
Education
- In 1979 graduates secondary school. The same year enrolled in the Winery School, Ghidighici and graduates it in 1981.
- In 1983 enrolled in the Cooperative Professional School of Moldova and graduates in 1986.
- In 1996 graduates Law Faculty of the Moldovan State University.
Professional activity
- From 1981–1983 in military service, awarded medal for courage.
- Between 1986–1992 works in the trade-cooperative field.
- Between 1992–1998 Director of “Tanel Matei” enterprise.
- In 1998 establishes a charity foundation “FIFIRA”, re-registered in 2002 as “FII” foundation serving social-vulnerable people of the country. This activity has made him one of the most popular people in the country, while his colleagues gave him the title “The man of charity, peace and justice”.
Married, three children.
