Biographical Data

I, Pomana Ion, was born on October, 1 in a family of state farmers in Cuhurestii de Jos village, Soroca county.

I graduated secondary school of the Cuhurestii de Jos village, Technical Institute from Chisinau and was awarded Bachelor degree in economy.

In year 1983, awarded Ph.D. in economy at the Technical Institute in Chisinau.

In 1975–1985, I worked as economist, economist-in-chief at the “Ialoveni”scientific productive association.

In 1985–1988, I worked as senior expert of the State Chancellery of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

In 1989–1990, I worked as rector of the Supreme School for professional re-training in the agricultural-industrial field.

In 1990–1991, I served as the Chief of Economic and Industry Department of the State Chancellery of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

In 1992–1996, I worked as Director of STL “Fiducia”.

In 1996–1999, I worked as Director of Ltd “Completgaz”.
