The BCC has penalized several televisions

The Broadcasting Coordinating Council (BCC) has applied public warning to several televisions (Prime, Publika TV, Canal 3, Canal 2, Accent TV, and Ren Moldova) for providing priority in promotion to certain parties and for not being impartial during the electoral campaign. The BCC examined the Report on monitoring the main newscasts of several Moldovan televisions in terms of compliance with the Rules on coverage of the electoral campaign for the general local elections of 14 June 2015. The report showed that the monitored televisions had broadcast a total of 589 materials that covered political actors. // zdg.md

Renato Usatii: Authorities are making up reasons to exclude PN from elections

At a press conference, Our Party (PN) leader Renato Usatii said that the Central Electoral Commission has already been discussing the exclusion of his party from the electoral race for the local elections of 14 June. According to him, the governing politicians are preparing a scenario similar to the one during the parliamentary elections, when his party was excluded from the electoral race two days before the elections. At the same time, Renato Usatii announced that the party is planning to organize a national march for fair elections. The event is planned for 10 June and it will start in the Circus square in Chisinau, from where participants will march to the Great National Assembly Square.

The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) candidate for Chisinau general mayor Serafim Urechean has announced about launching a new action — “Chisinau asks — Urechean answers”. “There are very many questions that voters want to know answers to, in order to have a more decent life and a cleaner city. The PLR has negated rumors about withdrawal from the “PPEM — Iurie Leanca” Electoral Bloc

At a press conference, the Liberal Reformatory Party (PLR) has negated the rumors that it is withdrawing from the “PPEM (European People’s Platform of Moldova) — Iurie Leanca” Electoral Bloc.
