PDC analysis: Parties have included a small number of women and young people into electoral lists

Political parties’ lists for the local elections of 14 June, just like during previous elections, contain very few women and young people, who are placed closer to the end of lists. The finding was made by experts of the Partnership for Development Center (PDC) after analyzing electoral lists. The analysis showed that the largest representation of women is on the list of the “Democracy at Home” Party (over 60% of candidates are women). Parliamentary parties are closer to the end of the rating, and the Liberal Party has the smallest representation (a little over 23% of candidates are women). // IPN
