The CEC summed up the results of the parliamentary elections of 30 November

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has summed up the results of the elections for the 22nd Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. According to the CEC, 1,649,402 voters, or 57.28% of the number of persons in electoral lists, participated in elections: 53.46% of the voters were women and 46.54% were men.

In terms of the age of the voters that participated in the Sunday elections, the situation is as follows:

According to the valid votes obtained by the electoral contestants that collected at least 6% of the total valid votes in the country in the parliamentary elections of 30 November 2014, the mandates for membership in the 22nd Parliament of the Republic of Moldova were distributed as follows:

The CEC also informs that

Other 9,261 persons voted at the polling places opened for the Moldovan citizens residing in some localities on the left bank of the Nistru, in Bender municipality and in some localities of the Causeni region.

At today’s meeting the CEC also approved the report on the results of the parliamentary elections of 30 November 2014. As a result, the Commission will present to the Constitutional Court, in order to confirm the results and validate the MPs’ mandates, the records of proceedings with the summing up of elections results, the list of MPs for the validation of mandates, the lists of declared substitute candidates for membership in the Parliament, and the CEC report on the results of the parliamentary elections results of 30 November 2014. // CEC
