The candidates with the highest chances in the presidential race

The Association of Sociologists presented the survey “Moldovan President in the eyes of citizens: a sociological approach”. According to survey results, over 36% of those who would go to vote would support Igor Dodon, over 16% would vote Maia Sandu, 14% of respondents would support on Andrei Nastase and 12% would support Marian Lupu. About 8% of respondents would vote Iurie Leanca, 3.6% would vote for Dumitru Ciubasenco and 1.3% of respondents would elect as President Mihai Ghimpu. The remaining candidates accumulated altogether no more than 1%. If elections wold be held next Sunday, 53% of people would go to vote. Over 21% are confident that they will not go to vote. The rest are undecided.

The survey was conducted between 1–10 September on a sample of 1179 people in 77 locations. The margin of error is 3%. // IPN

Promo-LEX Report: candidates are using administrative resources and report less spending

At least four candidates for President of the Republic of Moldova use administrative resources in collecting signatures for their registration in the electoral race. In the same time, three initiative groups that have already submitted to the CEC the subscription lists declared less spending than anticipated or said they had no expenses yet. Businessmen are called to support Andrei Nastase

At a press conference, the “Domulterra” director, Aliona Mandatii, and the director of “StarNet”, Alexandru Machedon have launched an appeal to managers, businessmen and ordinary citizens to support the candidacy of Andrei Nastase for the function of President. “We do not do this for later favors. Maia Sandu: illegalities were committed at the signing of the investment agreement in Giurgiulesti Port

At a press conference, the PAS candidate for President of the Republic, Maia Sandu said that there are deficiencies and irregularities in the investment agreement in Giurgiulesti International Free Port. The main actors responsible for signing and implementation of this convention are Marian Lupu and Igor Dodon. That’s because the agreement was negotiated in 2004 when the economy minister was Marian Lupu, and in 2008, at Igor Dodon’s proposal, the government took over some of the obligations of the investor to fund some projects that have not been taken to the end. // jurnal.md
