Plahotniuc about Maia Sandu attacks on PDM

In an interview with the portal Tribuna, first deputy of the Democratic Party, Vlad Plahotniuc, was asked what he thought about PAS candidate for President of the Republic, Maia Sandu, in the context of the attacks launched by her party against the PDM. “I do not have an opinion, I know her as she was part of two cabinets with us. She had no problem in having PDM support and my own support to become a minister. Strangely, all her public criticism against PDM arose only after PLDM did not make her a minister. Only then she left the government and created her party. Probably the attacks against me are needed to create and grow her party and I do not see any problem here. I told you that there are some parties that were built on this idea. They have no political project, they shows no vision, but fight imaginary enemies and their leaders pretend to be martyrs or saints. I think we should not look much at how would she cooperate with the government, because I think Topas will take her out the race or will make sure she gets a poor result in elections”, said the politician. // Tribuna
