Vladimir Voronin wrote to Angela Merkel and Jean-Claude Juncker

PCRM leader Vladimir Voronin has sent a letter to the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, informing them about the state of things in Moldova and about the dangers facing the European integration idea in Moldova. PCRM party leader begins his letter with information on the number of supporters of European integration, that decreases every day in Moldova. “If in 2008 nearly 70% of Moldovan citizens were in favor of European integration, today, this figure decreased to 35%”, stated Voronin. According to him, one reason is that, since 2009, under the guise of European integration, Moldova was transformed into a captured state: “The so-called «success story» proved to be a facade for stealing billions of dollars from three Moldovan banks”. In this context, Vladimir Voronin mentioned that one of the executors of this “crime” is Iurie Leanca, which may have contributed to the worsening financial situation in the country. // realitatea.md
