Mihai Ghimpu: Moldova missed the chance to join EU

PL candidate for President of Moldova, Mihai Ghimpu, met the Theater Union and talked to them about the benefits the Unification would bring for intellectuals and the measures to be undertaken to achieve this national goal. “Of all our assessments and discussions we’ve had with officials in Brussels or Bucharest is obvious that Moldova’s chances to join the EU were missed for a significant period of time. We must understand that a republic that has no economy can not grow. We try to bring investments in the country, but indifferent how hard we try Russia will always stay in the way. I therefore consider that the Unification of Romania and Moldova is the only chance to ensure security and welfare”, said Mihai Ghimpu.

Andrei Nastase: election fraud is obvious

In an interview with the portal Tribuna, Andrei Nastase of the “Dignity and Truth” Platform (PDA), spoke about the electoral context and the intentions of the government to fraud elections. “Obviously they prepare a massive electoral fraud, and an example in this regard is that electoral lists count with about one million more voters than the actual number of voters. Also, let us not forget how cynical, abusive and illegal was the collection of signatures for Marian Lupu, and the way he was registered in the election race on a Saturday by the CEC which was not entitled to receive lists drawn up overnight.”, said PDA candidate. // Tribuna
